DAIRY NEWS – The Professional Dairy Producers Foundation (PDPF) raised $17,030 during a silent auction held at the recent Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) Business Conference in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. Nearly 100 items sold at the March 17-18 event at the Kalahari Resort.
Plan to Bid at Dairy’s Foundation® Silent Auction
JUNEAU, Wis. – The Professional Dairy Producers Foundation – Dairy’s Foundation® – will host a public silent auction during the upcoming Professional Dairy Producers (PDPW) Business Conference, March 17 & 18, 2021 at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center, Wisconsin Dells, Wis. A wide variety of items, including tickets for sporting events, framed artwork, household and children’s items, athletic tickets, and more, will be on display and available for bidding. The auction will include more than 90 lots.
Plant a Seed, Inspire a Dream Campaign Kicks Off
Juneau, Wis. – The future of dairy hinges on the ongoing professional development of dairy producers. Professional Dairy Producers Foundation, also known as Dairy’s Foundation®, is kicking off its Plant a Seed, Inspire a Dream fundraising campaign to support programs that will enhance the skills of current dairy producers and develop the leaders of tomorrow.
Video To Help with Animal Disease Traceability
Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium (WLIC) is debuting a video highlighting the importance of animal disease traceability and the use of premises registration and individual animal identification – including the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags – to protect the food supply.
Janet Keller named PDPF Executive Director
JUNEAU, WIS. – The Professional Dairy Producers Foundation (PDPF) Board of Directors announced Janet Keller as Executive Director during their December 2018 meeting. Keller began her duties Jan. 7, assuming the leadership position held by Deborah Reinhart who will officially retire June 1, 2019.
