Dairy’s Foundation Awards Grants to Strengthen Dairy Education and Outreach Efforts
Dairy’s Foundation Campaign Encourages Producers, Industry Allies to Join “Team Dairy”
April 2, 2024- DAIRY NEWS – Dairy’s Foundation has awarded grants to programs focused on building healthy and vibrant dairy communities.
The grants will support:
- Mobile Dairy Experience hosted by the New York Animal Ag Coalition to support curriculum development and multi-media development, including a video that can be shared online to reach additional consumers.
- Young Professionals Learning Summit hosted by the Center for Dairy Excellence Foundation to support a speaker and materials.
The next deadline for grant applications is June 1, 2024. More information is available for grantseekers at www.DairyFoundation.org.
“We are proud to be able to support forward-thinking dairy programs that strengthen our industry and build stronger ties with our communities,” said Brian Forrest, dairy producer from Stratford, Wis., and chair of Dairy’s Foundation board of directors. “We appreciate the dairy producers and industry allies who generously fund Dairy’s Foundation to allow us to support programs across the country.”
Dairy’s Foundation is currently hosting the annual “Plant a Seed” campaign to fund the Foundation’s support of education and leadership development programs in the dairy industry. The 2024 campaign goal is $75,000, with every dollar multiplying with matching funds from CP Feeds ($10,000), Northside Elevator, Inc. ($5,000), MAC Contractors ($5,000), Compeer ($3,000) and Pipping Concrete ($2,000).

For more than 20 years, Dairy’s Foundation has been focused on raising funds and awarding grants to support educational and sustainability initiatives for the dairy industry and those impacted by it. It was originally founded in 2002 as the charitable arm of Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP).
