Dairy’s Foundation “Plant a Seed” Campaign Kicks Off with a Friendly Competition
The “Moolah Makers” and “Udderly Unstoppable” Teams Face Off to Raise $75,000 for Leadership Development, Community Development and Sustainability

February 1, 2025 – DAIRY NEWS – The race is on! Dairy’s Foundation® launches the eighth annual “Plant a Seed, Inspire a Dream” campaign, setting a goal of $75,000 to support initiatives that enhance leadership development, environmental sustainability, and community engagement across the dairy industry.
This year’s campaign brings an exciting new twist with a friendly competition between two powerhouse leadership teams:
  • The Moolah Makers – Representing Dairy’s Foundation Board of Directors, this group is rallying support with determination to fuel the future of dairy.
  • The Udderly Unstoppables – Led by the Professional Dairy Producers Board of Directors, this team of dairy farmers is going all in to ensure their fundraising efforts make a lasting impact.
“This competition is all about fun, teamwork, and making a real difference,” said Brian Forrest, dairy producer from Stratford, Wis., and chair of Dairy’s Foundation Board of Directors. “Whether you support the Moolah Makers or Udderly Unstoppable, every dollar raised benefits vital programs that strengthen our industry for generations to come.”
Adding even more momentum to the campaign, four industry heroes—Pipping Concrete, Ag Partners Farm Credit, Mullen’s Cheese, and CP Feeds—are stepping up as champions, leading by example to inspire donations and rally industry-wide support.

The 2025 campaign goal is $75,000, and every contribution directly supports dairy education, sustainability initiatives, and programs that strengthen the connection between dairy farmers and their communities.

“At the end of the day, we all win when we invest in the future of dairy,” Forrest added. “This campaign ensures we continue to grow as an industry—developing leaders, advancing sustainability, and educating the public about the work dairy farmers do every day.”
