Plant a Seed Campaign Underway to Benefit Educational Programs in Dairy Community
Professional Dairy Producers Foundation Campaign Features Friendly Team Competition

February 7, 2023 - DAIRY NEWS – For the sixth year, a friendly competition is underway to raise funds to support educational programs for the dairy community. Professional Dairy Producers Foundation (PDPF), also known as Dairy’s Foundation, launched the annual “Plant a Seed, Inspire A Dream” campaign on February 1 and will run through April 30.
The funds raised through the campaign will directly support the creation of new and sustainable dairy leadership resources and educational programs. Dairy’s Foundation contributes to programs across the nation with an objective of creating a positive impact through professional development and lifelong learning.
The 2023 campaign goal is $100,000 with three teams of dairy producers and industry professionals competing to raise the most funds.
Every dollar donated multiples thanks to matching funds from our partners at Agopur ($7,500), and Compeer ($5,000).
Donations can be made at www.dairyfoundation.org, with the option to “vote” for a specific team.
The 2023 Plant a Seed teams include:
  • Team Impact: Captain Sonia Rarick, Steven Vale
  • Team Dream: Captain Joan Behr, Russ Warmka
  • Team Vision: Captain Brian Forrest, Jim Mlsna, Floyd Sutton
The Professional Dairy Producers Foundation was established by Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin in 2002 as a way to raise funds and award grants for educational programs. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) entity. For information on programs funded and ways to donate, visit www.dairyfoundation.org.
